Driving the bus I do for over 15 years now, but since summer 2000  I do local busservice at Veolia in the middle and east part of Holland.
Sitting behind the steeringwheel, all kind of stories entered my head and at a certain point I started to write them down. And as the computer is one of my hobbies as well, I made a website of it.
Now my English-speaking friends want to read them as well and a few of them, offered to 'clean' my efforts in translations.  Lyn Nicaise lives in Holland and was willing to translate a few stories. And of course I am very happy with these offers.
Every story started with an impuls, something that happened in or around the bus, but during writing imagination grow into it as well, but it won't hurt  reality.

I had no way of knowing things were going to take such an unexpected turn. It was the kind of nightmare every bus driver hopes to never have to experience........

You try to be nice and it gets thrown back in your face:

It happens to the best of us, you try to be nice to someone but realize later you would have been better off not trying!
They were sitting on the “chat seat”. They got on the bus in Wageningen, moaning a little because they had missed the previous bus. An older couple, they had been on the go all day for a visit to their daughter and now they had to get back to Harderwijk.
What time did bus 105 leave from Ede-Wageningen?....
